Teasing that thread of encyclopedic knowledge out of that cyclone in your brain wasn't all that difficult, though you could tell that it was one of the simplest pieces of technology swirling around up there. [Red Lasers], a big gun that shoots a beam of light and heat to melt your enemies. Now if only the smallest default size in your brain wasn't the size of a battle tanks main gun designed to be directly hooked up to a nuclear reactor to keep functional. You are going to need to put in some work to make a handheld version.
Actually, that seems to be a theme of all the things you have access too so far. It's all so... BIG. In fact, the only things you know how to make that aren't capable of filling entire rooms (or entire neighborhoods) are the tools you need to make them and the materials needed to build them. That could pose a problem so long as you're on your own.
Heading deeper into the city looking for this 'Protectorate' you find a handful of people outside, taking pictures of you, but fleeing whenever you start to approach. The behavior somehow reminds you of birds, but you're not sure why.
Closer to the water, you can now sort of see an oil rig that appears to have [Deflectors] surrounding it. You're not sure how you know that, but assume it was reminding you of something you haven't pulled out of that jumbled database in your head yet. You are willing to bet that thing is rather important, but as you have little knowledge of boats and you dont know if you can swim, you're not sure if you can even get there. Still, its a landmark useful for navigation if nothing else.
You spy a van in a coffee shops parking lot with the letters PRT in big blocky letters on the side. You presume that PRT stands for PRoTectorate or something, but you're grasping at straws here. You have yet to see a building that both has its lights on and lacks a 'no shoes, no shirt, no service' sign.
Waiting a few minutes, two men in what looks like some sort of flak jacket with PRT lettering all over it leave the shop laden with nearly a dozen cups of coffee that they then proceed to drop upon seeing you just waiting for them. One of them even reaches for a gun while you nervously wave at them.
"Um, Hi. Are you p-" you flinch as the one who dropped coffee on himself fires his gun in the air and starts shouting at you. Something about the ground?
[_][Gun] (Militarist) Get behind cover, then retreat as best you can. You're unarmed, alone, and nothing you've done would warrant this behavior. Clearly this is one of those 'gangs' that guy mentioned. you wish you had a gun to shoot back, but sadly you don't.
[_][Gun] (Neutral) Jump on the ground behind the van and try to crawl away. You are one fox and you can't deal with people shooting at you. Hopefully you don't look threatening enough to shoot.
[_][Gun] (Pacifist) Clearly he was startled. That guy did call you a 'monster cape' earlier. You just need to de-escalate the situation. A bit difficult given your lack of anything, but like dealing with any panicking animal, slow, non-threatening movements can only help.
Coffee Pants partner gets off the radio with someone and shouts at Coffee Pants to put the gun down. Mr Reasonable grabs something small and round and chucks it at you. It explodes into a yellow-white foam sealing your legs and rendering you utterly helpless.
At least you're slightly warmer now.
Over the next few minutes of not getting shot at, you learn that yes, they are part of the PRT, which is kinda sorta the protectorate but not really. you don't really get it. The guy with the radio kept throwing around words like 'case 53' and asking for orders. It was odd that the person on the other end kept giving orders even though nothing was happening. Eventually they decide to dissolve enough of the foam to shove you in the van and drive off towards what they are calling the Protectorate HQ. They didn't even reorder their coffee, if they had they probably would have noticed the employee working the register recording the whole thing.

honestly wasn't expecting a second militarist/pacifist vote right after the last one, but it is what it is. and that 6. in case it wasn't obvious when i roll dice to decide what happens, low numbers are bad mmmkay. if that last number was significantly lower, your foxy ass would be going to coils bunker
